Arrival Information
When students arrive at school in the morning, they should plan to arrive between 8:20 and 8:30 AM. Fifth graders will head to the playground for some unstructured time to play and meet up with friends. Sixth graders will move to the front of the building where they can mix and mingle until the bell rings and they line up to come into the building.
- Line up, Mask Up: While outdoors, students do not need to wear their mask, however, as soon as students get in line to enter the building, they will be asked to put their masks on. Please make sure your child is prepared to mask up when they line up!
- CAR LINE: If you plan on dropping your child off at school, this is the map for the car line. Cars will enter the lot, loop around the main parking area, drop off on the west side of the school, and will head back out of the drive. Cars will be only allowed in the main entrance drop-off area if there is a special exception. Once dropped off at school, students will head to their assigned entry door. The doors are assigned by homeroom teacher or house, so make sure your child checks this map for their door assignment. Homeroom teachers' names will be listed, as well as their room numbers, on signs on the door to help students find their correct entry door.
- STUDENTS WALKING: Students walking to school should use the paths around the school to go to their assigned door. The doors are assigned by homeroom teacher or house, so make sure your child checks this map for his or her door assignment.
- STUDENTS BIKING: Students who bike to school should be sure to wear a helmet and park their bike in the bike racks by the tent on the west side of the school. If riding a bike, it is expected that students stay on the paths and out of the parking lot. Please review bike safety with your child. Once their bike is parked, students should go to their assigned entrance. The doors are assigned by homeroom teacher or house, so make sure your child checks this map for his or her door assignment.
- BUS: Students riding the bus will be expected to wear their mask on the bus, and will be sitting in assigned seats on the bus. Once they arrive at school, bus riders will enter through their assigned door and will make their way to their homeroom.
Assigned Entry Doors
Students will enter through assigned doors to limit exposure and provide a straight path to their homerooms. They must be wearing a mask when they enter the building.
Doors are assigned by House OR Homeroom teacher, and you will be able to see your child's door assignment using THIS MAP. HOUSES and/or TEACHERS, and ROOM NUMBERS will be listed on signs on the correct entry door.
