In the year 1995, Highcrest Middle School officially opened for 5th and 6th graders in our Wilmette community. In 2000, a time capsule was created to capture that moment in time. This capsule was scheduled to be opened 20 years later...
Here we are in 2020, and we finally opened the Highcrest Time Capsule! Did you miss this momentous occasion? No problem! Check out the recording below of the opening of the time capsule and help us celebrate an amazing 25 years of Highcrest history!
On January 22nd, we continued the tradition by creating a new HMS time capsule to be opened in 2045, on the 50th anniversary of Highcrest Middle School. Homerooms and other staff members submitted items to this year's time capsule to memorialize these many events of 2020. Watch the video below to see what they submitted!
